Production Manager

What you'll be doing
-Develop and implement effective production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet customer demand and production targets
-Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the production department, including supervision of production staff, resource allocation, and quality control
-Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, supply chain, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations
-Monitor and analyse production data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and make data-driven decisions
-Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
-Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the production team to foster a culture of continuous improvement

What we're looking for
-Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the manufacturing or cosmetics industry
-Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management principles
-Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
-Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
-Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team to achieve production targets
-Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
-Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
-Language : English, Mandarin and Malay. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
