Production Operator (Machine Operator)

Key Responsibilities
Production & Equipment Operation
Operate and oversee manufacturing equipment across various stages of the production process

Monitor machine performance and output to ensure production targets are achieved

Basic Maintenance & Issue Resolution
Carry out routine machine checks and minor maintenance activities

Identify equipment issues early and execute first-level troubleshooting to reduce downtime

Product Quality Assurance
Perform in-process inspections to verify product specifications such as consistency, and packaging condition

Escalate deviations and ensure compliance with internal quality standards

Operational Efficiency
Support initiatives aimed at improving productivity, reducing waste, and optimising workflows

Provide feedback on process performance and improvement opportunities

Workplace Safety & Compliance
Adhere to all safety policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements

Maintain a clean and organised production environment

Line Setup & Change Management
Assist with equipment start-up, shutdown, and product changeovers

Ensure readiness of machines and materials in line with production schedules

Candidate Requirements
Experience:

Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred

Exposure to FMCG, food, or high-volume production settings would be an added advantage

Technical Capability:

Basic understanding of operating industrial machinery

Ability to perform simple troubleshooting and equipment handling

Work Schedule:

Able to support rotating shifts, including nights or weekends when required

Personal Attributes:

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety

Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
