Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
Strong background in the semiconductor industry is highly preferred.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong project planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
Solid commercial and contractual awareness.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
Willing to travel as required.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage projects involving utilities piping installation, steel structures/platforms, HVAC systems, structure and architectural works.
Plan and execute process utilities facilitation and hook-up, including but not limited to PCW, CDA, city water, exhaust, and RODI systems.
Monitor and drive project progress to meet milestones and deadlines while upholding high quality and safety standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination.
Review and approve project documentation including method statements, shop drawings, T&C checklists, and progress reports.
Ensure all works comply with contract specifications and technical requirements.
Oversee site operations, monitoring contractor and team performance to meet project expectations.
Lead technical discussions to resolve engineering and site issues promptly and effectively.
Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and manpower, aligning with project budgets and schedules.
Oversee financial and resource planning to ensure project profitability and effective cost control.
Prepare tender submissions and quotations for upcoming projects.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of as-built drawings, BOQs, claims, and handover documentation.
Mentor and supervise project engineers and site teams to ensure alignment with company standards and project objectives.
