QA Officer - Senawang

What you'll be doing
-Prepare detailed work instructions and forms for operational and departmental tasks.
-Monitor the condition of gauges and measuring equipment and report any malfunction immediately to the QA Manager.
-Conduct daily monitoring at the corrugating and converting processes.
-Liaise with QA Inspectors regarding issuance of On Hold status for non-conforming or defective boards identified during inspection.
-New Model: Conduct on-line verification (visual and measurement) and submit samples to the QA Officer for laboratory testing.
-New Colour: Verify actual production output against the approved colour guide and distribute the approved guide to relevant departments.
-Operate and manage the wastewater treatment plant to ensure efficient treatment and compliance with environmental regulations.
-Establish Internal Quality Audit (IQA) schedules and assign auditors.
-Review IQA reports, prepare audit summary reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
-Conduct internal reject investigations and collect necessary information for report preparation.
-Attend weekly meetings with the Production team to discuss quality issues and improvement actions.

What we're looking for
-A diploma or degree in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
-Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role, preferably in the manufacturing sector
-Strong technical skills and knowledge of quality management principles, statistical process control, and inspection techniques
-Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
-Proficient in data analysis and report writing
-Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
-Attention to detail and commitment to upholding high quality standards
