Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (QA)
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, procedures, and work instructions.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer specifications, and company quality requirements.
Conduct internal quality audits and assist in external audits.
Monitor production processes and recommend improvements to prevent quality issues.
Analyze quality data and prepare quality performance reports.
Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for identified non-conformities.
Provide quality-related training and awareness programs to employees.
Support continuous improvement activities to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Quality Control (QC)
Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and testing of products and materials.
Verify product dimensions, appearance, functionality, and quality standards.
Identify, document, and report non-conforming products.
Maintain inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation.
Monitor production lines and ensure quality requirements are consistently met.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Purchasing departments regarding quality issues.
Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate quality records and inspection reports.
Ensure all quality documentation is updated and properly controlled.
Prepare quality reports for management review meetings.
Support customer complaints investigation and resolution.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Requirements
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Science, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in QA/QC within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management System is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of quality control methods and inspection techniques.
Familiarity with quality tools such as 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, SPC, and CAPA.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Product defect rate.
Customer complaint rate.
Internal rejection rate.
On-time completion of inspections and reports.
Audit findings and closure rate.
Effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
Compliance with quality standards and procedures.
Working Conditions
