QAQC Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Prepare Inspection Test Plan, Method of Statement and Project Quality Plan, Control Plan, SOP and WI, as needed.

Perform inspection at supplier, incoming, in-process, Factory Acceptance Test, outgoing and Site Acceptance Test.

Prepare acceptance test reports for client’s approval.

Supervise sub-contractors and on-site sub-contractors on testing activities such as pressure test, hydrostatic leak test, helium leak, oxygen test, moisture test and particle test.

Troubleshooting any issues during testing qualification in factory, at suppliers and clients.

To provide immediate feedback and liaise with suppliers for any non-conforming materials on replacement/ rework and fabricated parts.

To maintain all QA test equipment in good working condition, including calibration, where necessary.

Possess a minimum of CSWIP 3.0 welding inspector or plastic welding and metal fabrication process experience will be an added advantage.

Familiar with high purity gases/ chemical systems, piping installation, testing and inspection will be an added advantage.

Able to interpret all mechanical and P&ID drawings.



REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must possess degree in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering.

Knowledge in 7 QC tools and SPC.

Knowledge in CMM programming and operation. Will be an added advantage.

Minimum 1-2 years working experience in high-purity gases/ chemical/ slurry supply systems are preferred. However, high-flyer fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia. (Mandarin will be an added advantage.)

Excellent presentation, communication and reporting skills.

Computer literate in Microsoft Words, Excel and PowerPoints.

A team player and able to work with all levels to resolve issues promptly.

Have an eye for detail and meticulously in carrying out duties assigned.
