Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Quantity Surveyor

Prepare Tender Documents including BQ and cost estimation.

Evaluate tenders from contractors/sub-contractors.

Control and monitor project costs, ensuring budgets are maintained from inception to completion.

Identify opportunities for cost-saving or value engineering during the design and construction stages.

Advise on the most efficient and cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and meeting project objectives.

Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior.

Ad-hoc assigned by management.

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Prepare and ensure timely submission of Contractors Monthly progress claim and sub-contractor’s certificate for Saudi Arabia (international) project building works.

Participate in tendering for new projects, including preparation of tender documents (BQ, cost estimation) and evaluation of tenders.

Implement cost control procedures.

Responsible in taking off quantities and calling for quotations.

Prepare final accounts of main contract and sub-contracts.

Assist the Assistant Contract Manager to prepare reports and variation orders.

Review and analyze cost studies and budget.

Evaluate tenders from contractors/sub-contractors.

Appointment of contractors/sub-contractors and prepare letter of award.

Ad-hoc assigned by management.



REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Preferably Executives specializing in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

At least 1 year of working experience in the related field for Executive level, and 3 to 5 years for Senior Executive level.

Willing to work at Sungai Way, Petaling Jaya.
