Safety, Health & Environment Officer

Job Responsibilities

1) Monitor workplace safety and conduct risk assessments, inspections, and hazard identification.

2) Ensure compliance with DOSH and DOE regulatory requirements.

3) Maintain and update SHE records and regulatory reports (e.g., NRA, CHRA, SDS, CF, etc.).

4) Manage scheduled waste handling, including preparation and submission through the eSWIS V2 system.

5) Maintain, update the chemical register, and other related chemical management documents.

6) Conduct SHE training, briefings, and awareness programs for employees.

7) Prepare and manage OER submissions for the Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS).

8) Participate in internal and external audits as the SHE representative.



Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Environmental, Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field. Yellow Book holders are encouraged to apply

Minimum 2 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry.

Familiar with DOE Scheduled Waste Regulations and the eSWIS system.

Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of DOE and DOSH legal requirements.

CePIETSO-PCP & CePSWaM certification will be an added advantage.
