Safety & Health Executive

Key responsibilities:
Liaise with regulatory authorities, government agencies and external stakeholders on health, safety and environmental matters.
Assist in safety & health issues.
Conduct comprehensive workplace risk assessments and hazard identification audits to identify potential safety risks
Prepare safety & health documents, files, drawings, etc.
Conduct safety briefing and training.
Project management and program monitoring up to completion and handing over to client.
Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
Provide safety consultation and guidance to operational teams and management on best practices and compliance issues.
Any other responsibilities assigned by the management (whenever required).
Willing to live and work in Ipoh.

What we're looking for:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline
Strong knowledge of Malaysian occupational health and safety legislation, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and related regulations
Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, hazard analysis and safety audits
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex safety information clearly to diverse audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating safety risks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with health and safety management systems software
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
