Senior Accounts Executive

Job Description:

As a Senior Accounts Executive at mm2 Asia Group, you will:
-Provide day-to-day financial and accounting support to operational teams.
-Manage full sets of accounts, including account receivable/payable (AR/AP) and general ledger (GL) closing activities.
-Prepare and submit GST returns on a quarterly basis.
-Assist in the preparation of group consolidation accounts and financial statements.
-Support the preparation of group quarterly financial announcements and forecast financial statements.
-Participate in corporate exercises as may be required by management.
-Liaise with auditors, tax agent, bankers and solicitors to ensure compliance with various statutory requirements.
-Ensure all financial records are compliant with accounting standards and company policies.



Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:
-A Degree or Professional qualification in accounting (ACCA/CIMA/MICPA or equivalent).
-Minimum 5 years for the Senior role with at least 2 years in a supervisory position. Prior audit experience is a plus.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Power Point) and familiar with accounting software. Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
-Knowledge of Singapore financial reporting, tax and regulatory requirements is a bonus.
-Experience in listed companies or involvement in corporate exercises will be an added advantage.
-Strong multitasking abilities, commitment, and a sense of urgency towards deadlines.
-An analytical mindset, discipline, and the ability to work independently.
-Good command of written and spoken English, proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
