Skills /Competencies:
Essential Skills:
Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / Engineering discipline.
3–5 years of experience supporting Hexagon PAS PSI or similar OT/operations monitoring tools.
Working knowledge of PSI functional areas:
Alarm list monitoring
Boundary / limit monitoring
Control loop health dashboards
Ability to troubleshoot common PSI issues such as:
Alarm updates not appearing
Boundary violation notifications
Control loop data not refreshing
User access or role-based issues
Basic ability to interpret plant alarms, process parameters, and operating envelopes.
Experience using SQL for data checks, troubleshooting, and simple backend validations.
Ability to follow ITIL processes for incident & service requests.
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of process control systems, historian data, or DCS architectures.
Understanding of alarm management principles and operations best practices.
Exposure to scripting tools for simple automation tasks.
Familiarity with VM environments, OS navigation, and PSI patch/upgrade steps.
Additional Skills:
Strong communication skills and ability to work with plant operations and shift teams.
Willingness to learn PSI configuration and gradually handle advanced support.
Ability to maintain troubleshooting notes, FAQs, SOPs, and documentation.
Team player with readiness to support rotational schedules if required.
