Senior Business Development Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Drive new business growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities across Malaysia

Acquire and manage clients through door-to-door outreach, field visits and business networking

Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for potential customers

Effectively communicate the features and benefits of XTransfer’s products and services

Represent XTransfer at trade fairs, conferences and industry networking events

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client servicing

Travel within Malaysia to meet clients on-site



Job Requirements:

Working Location: Penang

Bachelor’s degree

3–5 years of B2B sales or business development experience

Fluent in Malay, English and Mandarin; Mandarin proficiency is to liaise with China-based suppliers and Chinese-speaking clients

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills

Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets

High emotional intelligence, empathy and customer service mindset

Self-driven, goal-oriented, adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment



Preferred Background (Strong Advantage):

Cross-border payment handling (especially to China-based suppliers)

Logistics / freight forwarding sales

Wholesale industries (3C electronics, garments, furniture, building materials, etc.)

B2B trading business with China

Existing network in China-trade ecosystem
