Requirements

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
Demonstrate proficiency in civil and structural analysis techniques and software, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and design codes.
Exhibit excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities to address complex engineering challenges and develop innovative solutions.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering, with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects.
Experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and standards related to civil and structural engineering in Malaysia.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear and concise recommendations.
Responsibilities

Conduct and oversee structural analysis and design for a variety of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Manage and coordinate civil and structural engineering aspects of projects from conception to completion, including planning, design, documentation, and construction support.
Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of civil and structural designs with overall project objectives.
Perform site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing structural conditions, identify potential issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff, fostering professional development and ensuring quality of work.
Utilize advanced software and tools for structural modeling, analysis, and design, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
