Responsibilities:
Jointly oversee the daily operations and deliverables of the Corporate Reporting Division alongside superiors and senior colleagues.
Involve in preparing the Asia Memorial Holding Ltd (AMHL) Group monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting inclusive all relevant analyses and reconciliation in a timely and efficient manner as to enable reporting to Board of Directors.
Lead and manage the annual audit process for Asia Memorial Group Limited (AMGL), ensuring timely and efficient completion in close coordination with external auditors and internal finance teams.
Involve in preparing the draft and audited annual consolidation financial statements of all the key investment companies like Asia Memorial Group Limited group, Asia Memorial Holdings Limited group, Grand Venture Investment Limited group, North Memorial Sdn Bhd group, other relevant audit schedules that related to the consolidated financial statements of the respective Groups.
Liaise with the Company Secretary on statutory and regulatory matters.
Monitor compliance with accounting standards and regularly update management and staff on new developments and their implications.
Involve in preparing all the relevant information or report of AMHL Group’s bank covenants computation.
Involve in reviewing/preparing the Group annual budget and other relevant information. Play an active role in the liaison with various Branches, Departments Heads, Accounts Heads and Superiors in finalising the annual Group Budget.
Identify and implement process improvements and drive automation in reporting functions.
Provide financial insights and analysis to management, highlighting areas of concern and supporting proactive decision-making to safeguard the Group’s financial health.
Assist in corporate exercises and provide financial input and documentation as required.
Offer technical accounting guidance to finance and other departments across the Group.
Undertake any other tasks or special projects as assigned by superiors or senior management.
Requirements:
At least 8–10 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong ethics and integrity, with a commitment to compliance and risk management.
Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, local regulatory requirement and internal controls.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.
