We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 100 employees across our beauty retail operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in payroll within a retail or multi-outlet environment, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments, statutory compliance, and reporting. This role requires a high level of accuracy, discretion, and an understanding of payroll legislation and retail workforce dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
· End-to-End Payroll Processing for all retail staff (approximately 100 headcounts), including permanent, part-time, and casual workers.
· Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, income tax, and other deductions.
· Prepare monthly payroll reports and maintain accurate payroll records for auditing and reporting purposes.
· Handle staff inquiries related to payslips, deductions, and salary adjustments in a timely and professional manner.
· Manage payroll changes according to staff movements like new hires, terminations, salary revisions, unpaid leave, and bonuses.
· Liaise with HR and outlet supervisors to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data in the payroll system.
· Support annual processes such as EA form preparation, income tax filing, and salary budget forecasting.
· Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality of payroll data at all times.
Requirements:
· Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
· Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a retail with multi-location environment.
· Strong understanding of Malaysia’s statutory payroll requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.).
· Experience using payroll system like QuickPay will be an added advantage.
