Senior Site Supervisor (Mandarin Speaker)

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of hands-on site supervision experience in the construction industry.
Able to communicate in Mandarin(to coordinate with Mandarin-speaking subcontractors).
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to perform under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic AutoCAD.
Willing to travel and temporarily work at different project sites when required (outstation).
Preferably male candidates due to frequent travel and physical nature of site work.
Own transport with a valid driving license (car or pickup truck is preferred).

Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate, and execute construction activities at project sites.
Inspect and ensure the quality of workmanship from subcontractors and workers.
Review and study construction drawings, specifications, and details to ensure accuracy and adequacy.
Monitor daily site work progress to ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget.
Ensure site operations run smoothly and meet both quality and safety standards.
Lead and conduct regular site meetings with subcontractors, workers, and relevant stakeholders to resolve issues and align targets.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure work is carried out according to drawings and specifications.
Perform site measurements, progress evaluations, and quality assessments.
Identify potential issues at the site, provide solutions, and take corrective actions promptly.
Keep accurate site records, documentation, and daily reports.
Anticipate potential problems and proactively manage risks.
Be ready to work longer hours when necessary, including short-term assignments at various locations across Malaysia.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the management to support project delivery and company growth.
