SENIOR TECHNICIAN - PROTON e MAS JURU

Job Responsibilities
Perform diagnosis, repair, servicing, and maintenance of Proton e.MAS electric vehicles and other assigned vehicles.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment and technical resources.

Carry out preventive maintenance and repair work according to manufacturer standards and workshop procedures.

Inspect vehicles and provide accurate technical findings and repair recommendations.

Assist in supervising, coaching, and guiding junior technicians.

Ensure repair and maintenance work is completed efficiently and within allocated timelines.

Maintain accurate job records, service reports, and workshop documentation.

Ensure workshop tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a clean and safe condition.

Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and EV handling procedures.

Attend technical training and continuously update technical knowledge and skills.

Job Requirements
Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Automotive Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.

Experience working with electric vehicles (EVs) is an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

Proficient in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical manuals.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and lead a team when required.

Possess a valid driving licence.

Willing to work at Proton e.MAS Juru, Penang.
