Service Engineer

Responsibilities:
-Perform digital cinema equipment installation, maintenance, servicing related case.
-Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality output during maintenance, service and project.
-Provide technical and hands-on support to ensure the operating schedules, repair & maintenance programs are carried out effectively in safely manner.
-Train and guide end user for proper equipment operation.
-Continuously completes field service reports, with particular attention to critical pending issues.
-Proactive in handling customer problems; able to identity common failures and make recommendation for preventive maintenance & corrective action.
-Maintain and manage records and reports and hands over to superior and related department of the company.
-Developing good relationships with customer.
-Perform risk assessments.
-Provide procedure documentation and operating instructions.
-Ensuring projects, maintenances, services meet safety regulations.
-Complete the task assigned by manager in timely manner.

Requirements:
-Minimum three (3) year of related working experience.
-Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
-SPM or Vocational School qualifications are welcomed, with background of Computing or Electrical Studies.
-A team player with high level of dedication, detail-oriented, flexible, in order to adapt to evolving technologies.
-Have good interpersonal & communication skills. Must speak and write fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia. Other languages an advantage.
-Work independently and proactive manner, possess analytical skills and ability to adapt change.
-Must have full driving licence for motor vehicles. Own car an advantage.
-Must be prepared to work some evenings, weekends and public holidays. This is NOT a 9-5 job! Overtime will be paid as appropriate.
-Must be prepared to travel throughout peninsula and east Malaysia (expenses paid). This is NOT a desk-bound job!
-Experience of audio engineering would be an advantage.
-Experience with Linux an advantage.
-Preference will be given to field engineers used to often working away from home.
