Site Engineer

We are URGENTLY seeking an efficient and technically sound Construction Site Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on field experience. In this role, you will oversee daily on-site operations, manage field staff, and ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and according to engineering design specifications. You will act as a key technical point of contact on-site, bridging the gap between project managers and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

Oversee daily construction activities and monitor subcontractor progress

Provide technical guidance and resolve immediate engineering issues on-site

Survey, level, and establish site boundaries and building grid lines

Interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications for accuracy

Conduct material testing and site inspections to ensure quality benchmarks

Enforce occupational health and safety regulations to ensure a safe workspace

Maintain precise site diaries, documentation, and weekly progress reports

About you

Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in site supervision or construction engineering

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or basic surveying equipment

Solid understanding of building codes, safety guidelines, and local permit regulations

Strong communication, active problem-solving, and team coordination capabilities

Valid driving license and willingness to work flexible site hours and under pressure
