Site Safety Supervisor (Green Book)

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and enforce site safety practices in accordance with company policies and local regulations

Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken

Ensure all workers and subcontractors comply with safety procedures and PPE requirements

Prepare and maintain safety reports, incident reports, and documentation (e.g. PNC records)

Lead toolbox meetings and safety briefings regularly

Assist in organizing internal meetings (e.g. town hall) to align safety goals and awareness

Work closely with Site Supervisor, Team Leaders, and management to ensure proper site execution

Coordinate with Landscape Architect, QS, and project team on safety-related matters

Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed within timeline and safety standards

Support onboarding and safety induction for new workers

Identify risks and propose preventive measures and improvements

Respond promptly to accidents, incidents, or emergencies on site

Promote a strong safety culture within the team

Requirements

Minimum Diploma / Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health or related field

Possess valid safety certification (e.g. Yellow Book / SHO / Site Safety Supervisor certificate – depending on Malaysia requirement)

At least 2–3 years of working experience in construction / landscape / related industry

Good knowledge of safety regulations and site practices

Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail

Able to lead and influence workers to follow safety standards

Good communication and coordination skills

Able to work independently and handle site issues effectively

Willing to travel to different project sites (if require
