Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic & Solution Leadership
Own the global P2M process template covering SAP PP/QM and related manufacturing processes.
Translate enterprise manufacturing strategy into executable technology roadmaps.
Ensure global governance, design standards, documentation quality, and alignment across regions and plants.
Drive modernization and digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing.
Solution Delivery & Operations
Oversee full lifecycle execution: design, build, test, deploy, and sustain P2M solutions.
Manage configurations for planning, MRP, capacity planning, production orders, confirmations, shopfloor execution, inspection lots, and quality notifications.
Ensure system stability, performance, and high‑quality incident/problem management.
Lead structured release management, regression testing, and change control.
Manufacturing Technology Integration
Define and oversee integration between SAP and MES, SCADA, automation, and other shopfloor systems.
Ensure consistency in production master data (BOM, routing, work centers).
Drive data flows, interface quality, yield/scrap reporting, and real‑time production visibility.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of P2M analysts across multiple levels.
Allocate resources, set priorities, and ensure strong project/support delivery.
Build capability through coaching, training, and performance management.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Act as the primary IT partner for Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Operations.
Lead cross‑functional workshops, alignment sessions, and decision‑making forums.
Manage external vendors for development, integration, and application support.
Oversee budgets, timelines, scope, and communication for projects and enhancements.
Governance, Controls & Compliance
Ensure compliance with IT controls, cybersecurity requirements, and audit/SOX standards.
Maintain structured documentation: functional specs, design docs, test scripts, SOPs, and process flows.
Promote template standardization across sites and enforce change governance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Technical & Functional Expertise
Deep expertise in SAP PP and QM, including master data, MRP, capacity planning, production orders, confirmations, and quality processes.
Hands‑on experience with MES integration, shopfloor automation, and manufacturing systems.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing KPIs: throughput, cycle time, yield, scrap, and OEE.
Understanding of cross‑module integration with MM, SD, and FI/CO.
Leadership & Behavioral Competencies
Proven experience leading functional teams and senior analysts.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
Ability to influence cross‑functional and executive‑level decision making.
Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
SAP PP/QM certifications preferred.
ITIL, PMP, or related certifications are an advantage.
Experience
10–15+ years of experience in SAP P2M/manufacturing IT roles.
At least 5 years of people management experience leading functional teams.
Experience working in multi‑plant, high‑tech, or semiconductor manufacturing environments.
Participation in full‑cycle SAP implementations and S/4HANA transformation projects.
