Staff Nurse

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care and support in the Operating Theatre (OT).

Perform roles on OT days including Scrub Nurse, Runner, CSSD, Prep Nurse, Surgery Coordinator, and Customer Care Administrator (CCA).

Prepare OT for surgeries, ensuring all equipment and instruments are ready.

Manage patient care and education, including handling patient complaints.

Oversee patient flow, surgery timing, and scheduling.

Manage surgical complications and ensure OT housekeeping and maintenance.

Ensure compliance with sterility and safety standards.

Control and maintain OT machines and instruments.

Perform OT administration, including surgery planning, scheduling, and inventory management (data entry, monitoring, reporting).

Liaise with suppliers and vendors.

Maintain documentation, records, and prepare statistics and reports.



Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, or related healthcare field

Registered Nurse (RN) qualification, preferably with OT certification.

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in operating theatre nursing.

Knowledge of OT procedures, sterility, and patient safety standards.

Proficient in surgery planning, patient flow management, and OT administration.


Salary: MYR 3,300 – MYR 5,500 + Performance Bonus
