Job Description
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies related to deliveries, shortages, damaged items, or incorrect orders.
Maintain accurate inventory records by updating stock receipts, issuances, returns, adjustments, and transfers.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability while maintaining established minimum and maximum stock levels.
Organize and maintain the storeroom to ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficient storage practices.
Prepare, pack, label, and issue materials, supplies, and equipment to relevant departments.
Implement proper stock rotation practices and coordinate the disposal or return of obsolete, damaged, or excess inventory.
Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits and reconciliation activities.
Generate purchase orders and support low-value procurement activities in accordance with company procedures.
Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries, returns, replacements, and inventory-related matters.
Maintain accurate supplier records and establish professional working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate the return and shipment of cancelled, defective, or damaged items to suppliers when required.
Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control procedures, and workplace safety standards.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.
Job Requirements
SPM, Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with experience in storekeeping, inventory control, warehousing, or related fields will have an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and stock management.
Good organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Physically fit and capable of handling, lifting, and moving stock items when required.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage, particularly when liaising with suppliers and business partners.
Must be willing to work in Kajang, Selangor.
Own transportation is required (accommodation/hostel is not provided).
