Strategy & Business Development Manager

Main Responsibilities:

1.Market Insight and Opportunity Identification: Continuously track intersecting trends between computing infrastructure and power markets in Southeast Asia and major global markets, including growth in data center power demand, green electricity procurement policies, power market reform, and the evolution of virtual power plants (VPPs) and demand response mechanisms, and produce structured opportunity assessments.

2.Identification and Validation of Structural Opportunities: Focus on the company’s positioning to identify and rapidly validate business opportunities including, but not limited to: token export/overseas expansion; regional agency or trading opportunities for key equipment; energy management services; VPP/demand response; cross-border green power trading; and participation in the development of industry-related financial instruments.

3.Resource Network Building and Business Matching: Establish and maintain an industry relationship network with data center operators, power traders, generation companies, equipment manufacturers, energy service providers, and regulators; quickly reach key decision-makers; and drive commercial cooperation to implementation.

4.Project Incubation and Lead Execution: For validated opportunities, lead the development of commercial proposals, formation of partnership structures, and advancement of contract negotiation and execution. Once a project is successfully operational, the role may transition to project operations management or continue as a BD professional to develop new opportunities.

5.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with technical, finance, and legal teams as well as external partners to ensure project feasibility in terms of cost, technology, and compliance.

Qualifications:
1.Industry Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree or above in AI/computing power/data centers/power markets or related fields, or relevant work experience; 3+ years of work experience; substantive understanding of the intersection of these fields; comprehensive knowledge or hands-on experience in relevant international markets.

2.Industry Resources: A callable industry relationship network among data center operators, power trading/retail companies, equipment suppliers, or energy service providers; ability to quickly reach key decision-makers and obtain first-hand market information.

3.Business Judgment: Ability to identify structural opportunities from information and assess commercial feasibility; experience independently completing commercial analysis or project feasibility assessments.

4.Execution Capability: Practical experience in driving B2B cooperation, trade agency, or service projects to implementation; capability in contract negotiation and partnership structure design.

5.International Perspective: Work experience or deep understanding in Southeast Asia or cross-regional markets; ability to adapt to differences in regulations, tax, and business environments across countries; fluent English as a working language.
