Supervisor Cafe - Setia City Mall

1.Café Operations

•Supervise and coordinate daily café operations during assigned shifts.

•Ensure smooth café opening and closing procedures in line with SOPs.

•Oversee food preparation, product quality, and service delivery to meet brand standards.

•Ensure café cleanliness, hygiene, and organization at all times.

•Monitor and report equipment issues to management promptly



2.Staff Supervision & Support

•Assist in training and coaching café staff on service standards and SOPs.

•Supervise staff performance during shifts, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.

•Conduct shift briefings to communicate promotions, service expectations, and team goals.

•Ensure teamwork and positive working relationships among staff.

•Provide feedback to the immediate superior on staff performance and development needs.



3.Customer Service Excellence

•Lead by example in delivering warm, professional, and friendly service.

•Support staff in handling customer complaints and escalate major issues to superiors.

•Build rapport with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business



4.Sales & Cost Awareness

•Support café team in achieving daily sales targets.

•Ensure staff practice upselling techniques and promote company offers.

•Assist in monitoring inventory usage, portion control, and food cost awareness.

•Ensure accuracy in cash handling and daily sales reporting.



5.Corporate Culture & Engagement

•Conduct or support daily team briefings and motivate staff to live O’Briens values.

•Actively participate in company activities, training, and campaigns.

•Promote corporate culture within the café such as company core values.



6.Compliance & Quality Control

•Ensure all staff follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures.

•Conduct checks on food handling, storage, and café cleanliness.

•Support internal audits and assist in implementing corrective actions.

•Maintain compliance with O’Briens standards and company policies.



7.Other Duties

•Perform ad-hoc tasks or assignments as instructed by the immediate superior or top management
