职位描述
Responsibilities:
Assist in formulating supplier quality strategies and improvement plans aligned with company objectives.
Support the TQM Manager in leading the supplier quality engineering team, including task delegation, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Drive alignment of supplier quality initiatives with company strategic objectives to ensure overall operational efficiency.
Oversee supplier qualification programs, ensuring robust assessment, audit, and approval processes are in place for new and existing suppliers.
Guide suppliers to improve their quality management systems and implementing preventive measures to meet product and regulatory requirements.
Support key supplier performance reviews and support strategic supplier partnerships to enhance collaboration and innovation.
Monitor supplier quality metrics (KPI, PPM, defect rates, and audit scores) and provide analytical insights to management for decision-making.
Champion root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) programs, ensuring timely and sustainable solutions to supplier-related issues.
• Supervise RTS (Return-to-Supplier) inventory management and work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely return of supplier investigation report and minimize material shortage issue to production.
• Ensure all supplier audits, surveillance activities, and First Article Inspections (FAI) are executed on schedule and to standard.
• Maintain oversight of NCR / CAR (Corrective Action Report) systems, ensuring timely closure and effective follow-up.
• Act as the escalation point for critical supplier quality issues, coordinating solutions with internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between SCM, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve supplier quality related issues.
• Support SCM at Supplier QBR meetings.
• Support in internal and external (customer / 3rd party) audits and quality related assessment.
• Assist the head of department in setting annual supplier quality objectives, KPIs, and improvement plans.
• Participate in strategic sourcing discussions, influencing supplier selection based on quality performance and capability.
• Support ad hoc assignments and projects from head of department to strengthen supplier quality systems and operational readiness.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience in supplier quality and supplier management.
• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong technical knowledge, GD&T and able to interpret mechanical drawing.
• Strong understanding of ISO9001, ISO13485, and AS9100 standards.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical and risk-based thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven, with a commitment to achieving company goals.
