Supply Chain Executive

Roles:

The Supply Chain Technical Engineer is responsible for optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes to support efficient production in a semiconductor contract manufacturing environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and deep industry knowledge to ensure effective material planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management. The Supply Chain Technical Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, enhance cost efficiency, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.



Job Scope:

Create 6-month Master Production Schedules (MPS) while balancing supply and demand

Utilize the whole supply chain of the organization to achieve lead time and cost goals

To accomplish corporate goals, inventory targets, and enhance inventory planning. Source, review and apply optimization concepts

Plan, oversee, and coordinate the actions involved in locating and acquiring the resources and supplies required to satisfy fluctuating levels of product demand

Review Price Purchase Variance (PPV), analyze past purchases, and take appropriate measures to achieve yearly operating cost savings

Communicate master production schedule to production, quality, and engineering; communicate lead time, capacity, delivery dates to sales and management team

Support production planning control

Ensure all materials procured has sufficient receiving lead time to prevent disruption to operations

Negotiate prices and contracts with vendors and suppliers to optimize value, including researching of new prospects

Forecast materials inventory levels and create work processes to align with existing operations flow



Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial) or a related field.

5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or engineering roles within the semiconductor industry.

Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor components, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Proven track record in cost reduction, value engineering, and supply chain optimization.
