System Administrator

About the role

As a System Administrator at Tan Boon Ming Sdn. Bhd., you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the company's IT infrastructure. This full-time position is based in Kuala Lumpur and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting the company's network and systems that are integrated into core business processes.

What you'll be doing

Install, configure, and maintain software and servers.

Create and manage user roles, permissions, and access controls.

Provide technical support to users, diagnose issues, and implement fixes.

Apply updates, patches, and enhancements to keep the system current and secure.

Ensure data integrity, backup systems, and manage data migrations.

Train end-users and create user manuals or support documentation.

Coordinate with other IT teams to integrate various systems internally or externally.

Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to ensure reliability.

What we're looking for

Professional Certificates in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related fields.

At least 2 to 3 years of experience in related fields.

Understanding of major systems like ERPs, servers and networking protocols.

Database Proficiency.

Ability to quickly analyze and resolve technical issues.

Ability to work with both technical teams and non-technical users.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with users and stakeholders.
