Technical Sales Engineer

Position Description

The Technical Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales efforts by providing technical expertise, product knowledge, and exceptional customer service to both internal stakeholders and external clients. This position requires a strong blend of technical acumen, communication skills, and a customer-focused approach to drive sales and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Core Responsibilities

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards, and work instructions.

Provide technical support, clarifications and resolution to external customer for all valves and automation related activities.

Development of Score Systems and Technologies including quotations, clarifications and presenting of Diagnostics solutions.

Assistance for customer clarifications and resolution of technical queries.

Participate in weekly sales meetings.

Review and update Sales Ledger.

Complete contract review checklist on receipt of purchase order.

Co-ordinating with Sub-suppliers and negotiating on price and delivery.

Provide order status report to customers and update frequently.

Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Ensure all work is carry out and being completed to highest standard of quality.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

Strong technical atitude with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts and solutions.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building strong customer relationships.

Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Proficiency in MS Office suite and company operating software.
