Transport Supervisor

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

At least 1 year of working experience in relevant industry.
Certification/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or related fields will be an advantage.
Skills & Requirements:

Strong communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. (Dealing a lot with Mandarin speaking suppliers and customers)
Knowledge of Standard Operation Procedures for Warehouse, Supply Chain
Knowledge on routing and transport network optimization
Must be hands-on, diligent and good real-time troubleshooting skill
Good verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers
Ability to handle a group of subordinates as well as co-workers
Team development for efficiency and fostering harmonized work place
Time management of own time and all persons within area of responsibility
Skills Required: Problem Solving, Multitasking, Attention to Detail, Communication and Logistics Software
Character & Work Location:

Well-organized, pro-active and self-directed, able to perform with minimal supervision
Willing to work in Pandan Indah Area
Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm, Sat 8am - 1pm
Responsibilities

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to deliveries.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes and efficiency. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to the logistics management team.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to optimize the supply chain, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. This includes long-term planning for capacity, resources, and technology.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics team. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and training opportunities.
Operational Oversight:
Oversee daily logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution. Ensure that all logistics activities are aligned with company goals and customer requirements
