Video Editor & Videographer

Commitment Expectations
Full-time position based in Bandar Sunway (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).

Willing to travel for company events when required.

Willing to work on weekends during events when necessary.

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Video Editor & Videographer to plan, film, and edit engaging video content for promotional, branding, and advertising purposes across various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Video Editing
Edit high-quality videos optimized for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu (XHS), and YouTube.

Repurpose long-form videos into short-form content such as Reels and Shorts.

Organize raw media, edit footage, perform colour correction, and create static and motion graphics using templates.

Enhance videos with music, voiceovers, and sound effects during post-production.

Contribute fresh and innovative ideas with a strong understanding of social media trends, engagement strategies, and storytelling techniques.

Ensure brand consistency by adhering to branding guidelines, maintaining proper layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Videography
Plan and coordinate video shoots with the content and marketing teams.

Ensure proper framing, lighting, and audio setup for high-quality production.

Capture and edit footage for company events and promotional activities as required.

Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Media Production, Photography, Film Production, or a related field.

Preferably from a production house or media agency background.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in video editing and production.

Familiar with camera equipment and video production workflows.

Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Proficient in:

Adobe Premiere Pro

Adobe After Effects

CapCut

Willing to travel and work on-site at the office and other locations as required by the company.

Remuneration & Benefits
Salary: RM3,500 – RM4,500 per month

Travel Allowance: RM120 (claimable)

Annual Leave: 15 days

Medical Outpatient Benefit: RM500 (claimable upon confirmation)

Hospitalisation Insurance: RM50,000 medical coverage upon confirmation

Performance Bonus (subject to management discretion)
