Warehouse Supervisor

Key responsibilities


Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching of goods

Supervise and manage warehouse team members, providing guidance, training and performance feedback

Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping using warehouse management systems

Conduct regular stock audits and investigations to maintain inventory accuracy

Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations within the warehouse

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs

Coordinate with logistics, procurement and customer service teams to meet delivery deadlines

Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation and safety standards

Report on warehouse performance metrics and KPIs to management

Handle documentation including picking lists, invoices and shipping manifests



What we're looking for


Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience in a similar role

Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management and stock control

Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop staff

Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Knowledge of health, safety and environmental compliance requirements in warehouse operations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Physical capability to perform warehouse duties and walk the facility regularly

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred

Experience in the manufacturing, distribution or logistics sector is advantageous
