Keen to know more about us? Let’s take a ride back to the 1950s, there was a small neighbourhood grocery store in Gombak, Kuala Lumpur and that was where our root started off. In year 1997, we grabbed the opportunity and Pasaraya OTK (OTK) was launched established. This supermarket quickly became the go-to place for fresh produce and grocery items, and two additional branches were opened in Sentul (2000) and Puchong (2003). In 2004, with opportunity hit us at the right timing, Village Grocer (VG) was born in Bangsar Village with its premium selection of produce. It continues to serve the residents of Bangsar and Kuala Lumpur with its large array of fresh produce and finest goods. The food selections are different with wide varieties and more premium as its targeting to cater for different group of consumers which extends to expatriates. From 1 VG outlet, we have grown to 16 outlets as at to date including our uniquely designed cafe known as “Village Pantry” which offers diversified and freshest Ready-To-Eat Food. In April 2017, we marked a very special day in the episode of our journey to success in Malaysia as the company fully acquired another premium supermarket, Ben’s Independent Grocer (B.I.G). B.I.G has been running since year 2011, brings an exciting experience for our shoppers with a complete grocery adventure through our impressive array of our specialised ingredients section themed section like barn Butchery, Bay Seafood, B. Organics and Malaya Kitchen. The Food Purveyor Sdn Bhd (TFP) is a full-fledged chain of premium grocers across the Klang Valley and aims to be the leading premium supermarket chain in Malaysia. We are now a group of companies of 30 outlets which consists of 3 Pasaraya OTK, 19 Village Grocer, 7 Ben’s Independent Grocer and 1 Village Pantry. We have developed rapidly and surely, & we are not planning to stop growing.
