What you'll be doing?
Shipment Management: Arrange shipments by examining destinations, routes, rates, and delivery times, ensuring efficient dispatching to carriers.

Verification and Reconciliation: Verify merchandise shipped by matching bills of lading and reconciling quantities, promptly noting any discrepancies.

Customer Communication: Keep customers informed by providing shipment updates, answering questions, and maintaining clear lines of communication.

Rate Analysis: Benchmark freight rates and negotiate rate structures, including consolidation lanes, capacity, and customer programs.

Quality Assurance: Collect and analyze service issues and carrier quality information, developing clear and concise reports for management.

Freight Forwarding: Perform essential freight forwarding functions such as booking and issuing Delivery Orders.

Order Tracking: Check and confirm order status on pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring timely updates.

Invoice Analysis: Analyze freight bills for customer-specific required information, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Data Management: Track and log information in the system, contributing to efficient record-keeping.

Special Requests: Coordinate and expedite time-sensitive pickups, deliveries, and other special requests, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.
