Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Manages the implementation of the Policy and Guideline at the local level, supported by Local Senior Management and coordinated by the CFO function

The Integrated Data Quality Processes with regards to data quality risk mitigation activities and related responsibilities

The 3 main topics of IDQS:

Financial Reporting (FRR)

IT General Control (ITGC)

Sustainability Reporting (SRR)

Assist the local Dirigente Preposto in coordinate between local data/process owner of IDQS topics and EY Italy on the IDQS activities

Assist Finance department in setting up Business Process Control (BPC), wherein the significant processes must be mapped into the PRIMa system with risk and mitigating controls identified

Coordinating with third party independent tester, EY Italy auditors to conduct testing of the internal control proceses (for both financial and non-financial). This includes:

Testing of Control Design (ToD)

Testing of Effectiveness (ToE)

2. Business Risk & Compliance Coordinator

Coordinate when Risk and compliance performing Risk and Compliance related activities, such as:

Risk Control Self-Assessment (include verification process)

Incident Reporting (reminder email will be sent out on monthly basis)

Annual Overall Risk Assessment

Compliance Self-Assessment

Localized Finance’s Group Policies & Guidelines

3. Others

Assist in ad-hoc assignment and Finance Projects particularly in the area related to Finance Accounting as assigned by superior from time to time

Assist in handling audit (internal/audit) request

4. Expenses project approval

Monitoring and ensuring all projects above the stated threshold are reported through the project approval form

Requirements:

1. Education:

Preferably has a degree in a relevant discipline, while a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACCA, MIA) or relevant technical qualifications are desirable

2. Experience:

At least 4 to 6 years of finance experience in Malaysia life insurance industry

3. Skills:

Analytical and numerical skills

Communication & inter-relation skills

Business acumen with problem solving skills

Good understanding of insurance product and Malaysia marketplace conditions
