Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification
ACCA, CPA, MICPA, or equivalent (completed or in final stages preferred)
2–5 years of experience in public practice or client-facing accounting/advisory roles
Strong knowledge of MPERS/MFRS, SST, and Malaysian tax regulations
Proficient in accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, Bukku, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and a proactive, solution-driven mindset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both verbal and written English (Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is a plus)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Strategic Support
Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as the primary point of contact for financial matters
Deliver practical financial advisory and insights tailored to clients’ business objectives
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies on behalf of clients
Provide guidance on compliance with MPERS/MFRS, Income Tax Act, and Companies Act
Accounting & Compliance
Prepare and review full sets of accounts, financial statements, and tax computations
Assist in bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and general ledger maintenance
Assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.
Maintain accurate financial documentation and perform reconciliations of accounts
Support audit preparation by compiling required financial records and schedules
Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory regulations
Team Supervision & Quality Assurance
Supervise and review work performed by junior associates to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Train and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning
Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and implement best practices
Client Communication
Handle routine client queries related to accounting and tax
Assist in presenting financial reports and insights in a clear, value-added manner
