Role Overview

The Logistics Manager will manage all logistics operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, distribution, warehouse operations, and quality control. This role is critical for maintaining efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of security products to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Order Preparation & Fulfillment: Manage end-to-end order processing, ensuring accurate and timely order dispatch.

Inventory Control: Implement inventory management systems (e.g., FIFO) to optimize stock levels, conduct regular audits, and maintain 98%+ inventory accuracy. Minimize disruptions and obsolete stock.

Distribution & Delivery Management: Plan and coordinate domestic deliveries, liaise with 3PL partners, and monitor delivery performance (OTIF), resolving delays.

Warehouse Operations: Oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring safety, security, and compliance with regulations. Manage warehouse team.

Quality Control: Implement QC checks for inbound/outbound goods and coordinate with product teams to address defects.

Cost & Performance Optimization: Analyze logistics costs, identify savings, and develop KPIs for team and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and manage logistics staff (20 team members), fostering a culture of safety and accountability.

Performance & Continuous Improvement: Monitor performance metrics (cost, efficiency, service), analyze bottlenecks, and lead improvement initiatives (e.g., automation, process redesign, sustainability) with ROI analysis. Predict demand and allocate resources proactively.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

Experience:

3+ years in logistics/warehouse management, preferably in security equipment, electronics, or building solutions.

Proven track record in inventory optimization (WMS/TMS systems).

Technical Skills

Proficiency in ERP/WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and data analysis.

Knowledge of Malaysian logistics regulations (GDPMD, MITI).

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.

Excellent communication (English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
