Requirements
Proven experience as a Retail Supervisor or similar leadership role in a retail environment.
Experience in Jewellery Retail is a plus, particularly with customized or specialized services.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication skills in English and Malay (Chinese is a plus).
Customer-service oriented with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
Lead by example to provide a warm and engaging in-store experience for all customers.
Drive store sales goals and motivate the team to meet individual sales targets across both
permanent and essential jewellery lines.
Maintain a positive, results-oriented attitude and foster a supportive environment for team members.
Customer Coordination
Ensure exceptional in-store service for customers, especially those coming in for permanent jewellery welding appointments.
Collaborate with the management team to coordinate and prepare for customers booked online for welding services, ensuring smooth communication and readiness for appointments.
Assist customers with inquiries and purchases related to both permanent and essential jewellery, offering expert advice and product knowledge.
Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a prompt, professional manner.
Operational Excellence
Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management.
Ensure the store maintains Azloft’s brand standards, including cleanliness, visual merchandising, and stock presentation for both permanent and essential jewellery items.
Oversee inventory management, including stock counts, cycle counts, and ensuring product availability, particularly for permanent jewellery-related items.
Lead and assist with back-of-house tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of stockrooms and the sales floor.
Coordination with Management
Work closely with the management team to align on store goals and strategies, particularly in managing online bookings for in-store services like permanent jewellery welding.
Communicate any operational challenges, successes, or suggestions for improvement to the management team.
Collaborate with the management team on implementing new initiatives, promotions, and service offerings across both product lines.
Team Development
Provide training and guidance to sales associates to help them develop product knowledge and sales skills across all jewellery categories.
Assist in managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods, including during customer welding appointments.
Support the hiring and onboarding of new team members, promoting a collaborative and positive team culture.
