Job summary

The Deputy Head of Business Relations plays a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Business Relations to achieve the company’s growth objectives. Acting as one of the second-in-command, this role provides leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to ensure effective business development, strong client relationships, and alignment with the company’s long-term vision.

What is your role? Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Departmental Management

-Assist the Head in managing the Business Relations Department, ensuring team alignment with company goals.

-Mentor, coach, and develop team members to increase departmental capabilities.

2. Business Development & Growth

-Develop strategies and recruit RM to enter new markets or industry segments.

-Work with the sales, operations, and credit teams to structure financing solutions that address client needs.

-Contribute to the development of annual business plans, budgets, and performance targets.

3. Governance, Risk & Compliance

-Ensure all business development activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

-Assess risks in potential business deals and escalate concerns to the Head and senior management.

-Prepare reports and recommendations for management review.


Who are we looking for? Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field

-At least 8–12 years of experience in business relations, corporate banking, project financing, or client management.

-Experience in managing teams and overseeing large-scale business development initiatives.

-Strong track record in building and sustaining long-term client relationships.

-Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

-Analytical thinker with commercial awareness and risk management capabilities.

-Demonstrates a strong determination to achieve goals and overcome challenges.

-Takes proactive steps and demonstrates initiative to take on tasks independently.

-Hard-working and diligence in carrying out responsibilities.

-A Goal Go-Getter to achieve objectives and meet targets.

-Hungry to Succeed in their role.

-An enthusiastic learner to acquire new knowledge and skills.
