Job Description

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Compliance
-Manage the full spectrum of HR functions including Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Attendance, Leave Management, Performance Appraisal, Training & Development, and HR administration.
-Ensure full compliance with Malaysia Employment Act and Statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF, etc.).

Payroll, Attendance & Leave
-Handle and oversee monthly payroll & commission processing.
-Review attendance and leave records prepared by HR team to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Employee Relations
-Handle employee grievances, disciplinary cases, counselling, and other employee relations matters professionally and confidentially.
-Act as the escalation point for sensitive or complex HR issues raised by the team.
-Advise HODs or Management on HR-related matters and people management issues.

Recruitment & Manpower Support
-Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, particularly to fulfil manpower requirements for Sales Branches.

Training & HRDF
-Assess training needs and coordinate training programs.
-Manage HRDF portal matters including grant applications, claims, and reporting.

HR Records & Reporting
-Ensure HR records, employee personal files, salary movements, contracts, and HR letters are properly maintained and up to date.
-Prepare HR reports, summaries, and documentation for management review.

Supervision & Process Improvement
-Supervise, guide, and review the work of subordinates to ensure operational accuracy and efficiency.
-Identify and implement improvements to HR processes, systems, and workflows.

Other
-Perform ad hoc HR duties and projects as assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements
-Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
-Minimum 4 years of HR Generalist experience; experience supervising junior HR staff is an added advantage.
-Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices.
-Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
-Experience using HRMS systems (e.g. FlexHR) will be an added advantage.
-Experience in payroll processing, employee relations, and HRDF administration is preferred.
-Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Able to work independently, under pressure, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
-Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented.
-Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin speaking is an added advantage).
