Job Description
Position Summary
· The Resident Medical Officer is to ensure the provision of high quality primary healthcare within an extended care setting) to the satisfaction of customers through the effective leadership.
Duties and Responsibiness
1. Plan, initiate and monitor the directions in which the team operates so that it meet customer's expectation and organizational goals by planning, initiating and monitoring directions of the team.
2. Achieve goals and objectives of the hospital through teamwork and shared vision.
3. Identify and resolve interpersonal and departmental conflicts, through effective communication.
4. Demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and managerial competencies within team members by displaying ability and willingness to work and communicate together.
5. Participate in meetings/reviews relating to the day'to-day operations of various departments within the hospital.
Lead and advise clinical staff on quality of treatment provided to customers.
7. Offer excellent customer service without boundaries and thereby improving customer satisfaction.
8. Promote interaction among all strata employees with a common goal of achieving betterment.
9. Organize, participate and moderate in-house clinical training programs.
10. 10. Attend CME and medical seminars to further enhance/update professional skills and knowledge.
11. To be flexible, adaptable and committed in work by upholding values and personal integrity.
12. Perform duties and responsibilities as a Resident Medical Officer or as assigned, including after office hours medical treatment.
13. Participate in marketing and promotion of the hospital and creating awareness to the community, including participation in community sernce projects.
14. Follow roster schedules planned by management and to accommodate special circumstances.
15. Ensure that medical treatment is well organized and delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
16. Prepare and disseminate written progress reports to families of in-patients and referring doctors.
17. Carry out the necessary billing procedures for treatment that is rendered.
18. Perform any other duties as reasonably assigned by the Management from time to time.
19. Conform to ethical guidelines by Malaysia Medical Council.
Education and Requirements
· MBBS or equivalent from recognized institutions approved by Ministry of Health / Malaysia Government (JPA).
· Registered with Malaysia Medical Council.
· Possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate.
· Clean record of professional practices against any medico-legal claim.
· Substantial clinical experience in treating hospitalized patients.
