Cantonese Communication Expert – WFH/Remote JOB

Title: Interpretation Support (Cantonese Speakers)

Work Location: Work From Home

Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable for 12 months)

Language Proficiency: Fluent in Cantonese & English

Project: Healthcare (Interpretation between doctors and patients in the US)

Experience: Open to freshers and experienced professionals

Education: SPM/Diploma holders

Mode: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Saturday & Sunday off)

Shift: Night shift (9pm - 6am/10pm-7am)

Salary: Based on current experience + Night shift allowance & Internet allowance + Performance allowance

Roles:

· Provides meaning-for-meaning interpreting.
· Follows interpreter protocols as per training, policies, and procedures.
· Follows all policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
· Attends all required training.



Required Skills:

Fluency in Cantonese & English

Skilled at communicating, both orally and in writing in Cantonese & English

Basic understanding of linguistics and different cultures.

Skilled in adjusting to rapidly changing circumstances.

Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.


Responsibility:

Provides meaning-for-meaning interpreting.

Follows interpreter protocols as per training, policies, and procedures.

Follows all policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.

Attends all required training.
