Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Contract Management
-Improving the escalation process. Gather, analyze, and utilize relevant data and escalation trends to develop improvements to the overall escalation processes and provide recommendations for process and policy improvements
- Draft and review various types of commercial contracts/employment contracts, etc., clarify rights and obligations, and avoid legal risks.
2. Compliance control
-Streamline business processes, formulate compliance systems, and ensure that enterprise operations comply with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
-To assure consistent and improving overall quality of operations, track, measure, and report on operational challenges, opportunities, development plans, and accomplishments within established frameworks and deadlines. Give broadcasters guidance and instruction on content standards and regulatory compliance.
3. Dispute Resolution
-Handle legal disputes such as litigation and arbitration, and represent the enterprise in negotiations, mediation, or court appearances.
4. Legal Support
-Provide professional legal advice for corporate decision-making, investment and financing, mergers and acquisitions, and other business operations, and answer internal legal inquiries.
-SOPs for online content management have been evaluated and improved. To provide flexibility and resistance to the constantly evolving internet and online content environment, review and continuously enhance the SOPs and guidelines on online content cases and complaints management.
5. Risk Prevention
-Identify legal risks in business operations, establish a risk early warning mechanism, and conduct legal training to enhance the compliance awareness of all employees.
-Assist with the review of relevant legal, policy, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., update act, data governance), cross-check project deliverables against compliance requirements, and flag any potential regulatory risks or non-compliance issues in a timely manner.
6. Public Opinion Monitoring
- Monitor dietary supplements or nutraceuticals in Malaysia and summarize the monitoring situation daily.
-To act is intended to safeguard the public against fraudulent food preparation, sales, and consumption practices as well as adverse health effects.
Requirements
· At least bachelor’s degree in Communication, Law, Public Relations or equivalent.
· Minimum 3-4 years of working experience with strong knowledge of online content as well as a sound understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks.
· Strong corporate communications and PR skills, excellent writing, editing, and presentation abilities.
· Experience in government liaison and regulatory compliance, familiar with statutory requirements such as Food Act 1983 (Act 281), along with its key subsidiary regulations, particularly the Food Regulations 1985.
· Understanding of enforcement and compliance requirements and broad understanding of social media Community Standards and Terms of Service.
· Strategic thinking with hands‑on execution able to provide advice to management while delivering day‑to‑day tasks efficiently.
