Indofood (M) Food Industries Sdn Bhd was established in Aug 1997 formerly its core business was trading, mainly in instant noodles, then become the sole distributor of instant noodles for Malaysia under the brand name of Indofood, Indomie, Sarimi & Supermi produced by PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (ISM), the principal which registered in Indonesia. Its distribution network includes the whole of West Malaysia, Sabah & Sarawak. The company was wholly 100% owned subsidiary of ISM. In Jan 2007, in order to expand its operation in Malaysia, the company has decided to manufacture its own instant noodle in Malaysia under the same brand name of Indomie, Sarimi & Supermi under license from ISM. The factory is manufacturing for instant noodle located at Lot 26, Jalan Tasek, Tasek Industrial Estate, 31400 Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. Tel. 605-5482968 / 5483868, Fax: 605-5480060. Currently, the sales volume for export market to Brunei and Singapore with brand "Indofood Mie Goreng" and for local market (Malaysia) then brands are: Indomie, Supermi, and Sarimi. In the next few months there will be Cup Noodles available in the market under “Pop Mie” brand.
