What you’ll do :
Source, evaluate, and onboard new repossession agents and auction houses to ensure adequate vendor coverage and service quality.
Review and assign repossession orders to approved repossession agents, ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory guidelines.
Supervise and manage a team of approximately six staff members, including the Repossession Coordinator and Repossession Supervisor.
Monitor team performance, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure timely execution of operational activities.
Handle escalated customer cases, including negotiating and determining redemption terms.
Evaluate the condition and market value of repossessed collateral and coordinate with approved auto auction partners to optimize resale outcomes.
Handle and prepare undertaking letters while initiating insurance claims where necessary.
Audit repossession Unit and repossession agents to identify inconsistencies or indications of potential fraud, escalating findings to the Head of Collection when appropriate.
Review post-sale files and coordinate with the Collection Manager on the assignment of deficiency balances to external collection agencies or legal representatives in line with policy and deadlines.
Prepare and distribute periodic reports on repossessions, auction sales performance, and loss recovery to the Head of Collection.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of third-party, including repossession agents and auction houses, ensuring service level agreements and performance standards are met.

What You Bring:
Have a minimum 3 years of experience in Hire Purchase Collections and Repossession with knowledge and practical experience on secured litigation process /foreclosure and understanding of regulatory requirements, collection systems or similar field.
KPI oriented and able to work under strict deadlines.
Bias towards action and take initiative to get things done.
Superior knowledge of Collection's Auto Loan, including HP act, Repossession and Auction's valuations.
Good negotiation skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to adapt to changes, able to enhance process and workflow management to achieve higher efficiency.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Words, Excel, and PowerPoint.
