Job Description

Requirements
-Assist in the preparation of ingredients for desserts, sweet soups, and fusion dishes, ensuring all items are prepped according to established recipes and quality standards.
-Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times, including proper handling, storage, and labeling of food items.
-Monitor and manage inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, informing the supervisor when stock is low and assisting with ordering and receiving deliveries.
-Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, such as mixers, ovens, and cooking utensils, ensuring they are in good working condition and reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
-Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation, contributing to the overall dining experience.
-Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new dessert and fusion dish ideas, providing input on flavor combinations and presentation techniques.
-Assist in plating and garnishing desserts and sweet soups, ensuring they meet the visual appeal standards of the company and are presented attractively to customers.
-Communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English with kitchen staff and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and clear understanding of tasks and instructions.

Responsibilities
-Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits, ensuring they are ready for cooking and dessert preparation.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and properly storing food items to adhere to food safety standards.
-Support the dessert creation process by accurately measuring ingredients, following recipes, and assisting in the assembly of desserts, sweet soups, and fusion dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
-Monitor and manage inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, informing the supervisor when items need to be reordered to prevent shortages and maintain smooth kitchen operations.
-Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene guidelines, ensuring that all food handling practices comply with health regulations to prevent contamination and maintain a safe working environment.
-Assist in plating and garnishing dishes, ensuring that they meet the company's presentation standards and are visually appealing to customers.
-Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely preparation of orders, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
