Job Responsibilities

-Purchase Planning : Develop and implement purchase plans aligned with company positioning and market trends, covering product structure, style, color, size mix, quantity, and pricing to build a competitive and balanced assortment.

-Trend and Product Analysis : Research industry trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities, guide product selection, and enhance the success rate of new product introductions.

-Supplier and Market Research : Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships through regular communication, evaluation, and visits to ensure product quality, stability, and long-term collaboration.

-Cross-Department Collaboration : Work closely with sales and production teams to review sales performance, gather post-sales feedback, and support quality inspection and acceptance processes

-Market Research and Intelligence : Conduct ongoing market research and collect actionable insights to refine purchasing strategies and strengthen decision-making.

-Product Assortment Management : Manage SKU assortment and product mix based on customer demand, seasonality, and performance analysis to maximize category effectiveness.

-Performance Tracking : Monitor and analyze sales data and key performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and optimize results.



Job Requirements

-Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or any related field.

-Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in retail buying or category management.

-Preferably in the beauty, cosmetics, food or lifestyle industry.

-Strong market awareness with good understanding of consumer trends and product lifecycle.

-Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.

-Analytical mindset with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

-Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure.

-Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and teamwork.

-Proficiency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
