Job Description

Duties:
-Develop, implement, and manage a strategic plan and operations to achieve cafe’s sales targets.
-Accountable for the business performance of the cafe.
-Responsible for daily operations, including menu planning, ordering, and inventory management.
-Recommend inventory and menu choices, and oversee procurement of supplies.
-Ensure proper inventory control in accordance with company standards.
-Maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand, and order ingredients as needed.
-Create and manage a comprehensive budget for the cafe, including special events, and advertising.
-Manage, train, and develop a team to achieve optimal operations at the cafe.
-Promote a positive team environment through effective management of the team.
-Drive customer engagement at the cafe through food and beverage service, and through marketing efforts.
-Work together with Marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, implement marketing campaigns, and develop branding strategies to drive food and beverage sales.
-Manage the cafe’s website & point sales system, including grab service, etc.
-Collaborate with HR team for hiring, payroll and human resource-related matters.
-Check daily conditions of all physical facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
-Proactively identify issues, prioritize issues, and implement solutions.
-Ensure compliance with the mall's rules, regulations, licensing, hygiene, health and safety legislation.
-Create and maintain policies and procedures, as well as present them to management for approval.
-Keep track and update daily and monthly sales and to present monthly financial reports to management.

Competencies:
-Proven experience in managing a cafe and/or coffee house.
-Ability to handle coffee machines and other appliances.
-Basic knowledge of handheld restaurant point sale systems.
-Ability to control costs and maximize profit margin.

Requirements:
-Diploma/Degree in F&B/Hospitality/Business.
-Background as Barista is required.
-A minimum of 3 years Café Management experience (or similar Food & Beverage outlet management).
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
-Leadership skills.
-Extraordinary communication and organizational skills.
-Pleasant personality with the ability to converse in multiple languages.
