Job Description
Global Deployment & Allocation
Oversee Intercompany (Interco) and STR/STO maintenance processes, ensuring timely creation and accuracy of STR/STO/POs, and troubleshoot system issues preventing expected document generation.
Lead Supply S&OE planning to align on purchase order creation and amendments according to due dates.
Drive global allocation management during shortages or surpluses, ensuring compliance with Global Business guidelines.
Act as escalation support for regional issues to the global team.
Provide accurate supply visibility and recovery timelines.
Report and communicate inventory status, SKU supply updates, and allocation details to regional teams.
Manage drop shipments and direct shipments from manufacturing sites and global source DCs to regional/country DCs and customers (customer drop shipment details to be defined).
Perform master data management and reporting activities.
Provide all necessary Master Data inputs for SKU creation and extension, and coordinate resolution of product data inconsistencies (e.g., COC, COO, UOM, weight, TP, DOM, manufacturer address).
Sales & Operations Execution (Supply Planning)
Prepare materials, participate in, and raise supply concerns during SIOP and S&OE processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve major constraints and shortages.
Simulate feasible options for allocation and mitigation plans.
Coordinate with stakeholders to address network constraints across regional and global DCs and support network change projects.
Execute the operating model and maintain planning parameters.
Capture weekly outlook snapshots and review supply alerts.
Define inventory strategies, including inventory policies and safety stock methodologies.
Report and communicate inventory management metrics (e.g., backorder projections).
Provide inventory projection reports (value/units, E&O).
Summarize supply risks and opportunities, including NPI and regional allocations.
Communicate shortages, back-to-stock dates, and aging PO/DN to regions.
Conduct regular reviews to align and adjust planning parameters.
Ensure data accuracy in Starboard or equivalent systems to drive correct actions during S&OE.
Support GDP lead and participate in projects to standardize processes and procedures.
Assist GDP lead in monthly GA BDX S&OE reviews to align revenue risk for each quarter.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Exception Alerts
Propose mitigation strategies (including DAF), such as sourcing from alternative global/regional/country DCs with sufficient inventory.
Provide air freight proposals when appropriate to address shortages, including defining roles and responsibilities for proposal, business case, application, and approval follow-up.
Assess and communicate supply risks and mitigation plans for transport delays to regions (specify recipients and communication methods).
Generate communications on supply alerts and exceptions.
Drive improvements in supply chain metrics, including DIOH and supply attainment performance (e.g., Interco supply attainment, region/site backorder $ and %).
Manage exceptions such as short shelf-life products, recalls/returns, quality holds, and master data discrepancies (RA, QA, GT).
Own the end-to-end replenishment process.
Own drop shipment and global OEM processes.
Reconcile accounts payable with Finance, Logistics, and Warehousing teams (e.g., country GR and source GI mismatches).
Prioritize goods supply when necessary, including production and GT prioritization (scope: before ATA).
Provide supply plan inputs for supply chain cost calculations and analyze variances between plan and actual.
Maintain cold chain lists and follow up on Source QA approval processes.
Required Knowledge and Experience
3–5 years of experience in supply planning.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels internally and externally, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver superior customer service.
