Assembly Technician

About the role

As an Assembly Technician at SunGrid Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of our innovative energy products. This is a full-time position based in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Kulim. In this hands-on role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our equipment solutions, which are used by customers across Southeast Asia.

What you'll be doing
1. Accurately assemble energy storage and automation systems according to technical specifications

2. Conduct thorough testing and quality checks at each stage of the assembly process

3. Identify and resolve any issues or defects in the components or assembly process

4. Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the assembly and testing activities

5. Collaborate with the production team to optimise workflows and implement process improvements

6. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the manufacturing facility


What we're looking for
1. Proven experience as an assembly technician or in a similar hands-on manufacturing role

2. Technical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

3. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently

4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

5. Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the production team

6. Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and components would be an advantage
